In mid November 2010, BISA Chairwoman Marion Schneider visited Istanbul on the invitation of INSPECT Uluslararası Belgelendirme ve Gözetim Hiz. Tic. Ltd. Şti. INSPECT’s founding members Mr Ozan Ates, Mr Boran Ates and Mr Süreyya Çorbacıoglu are striving to ensure that Turkey will take its deserved place in the globalising world. All three have long-standing experience and knowledge in the field of certification and inspection. INSPECT Certification’s services cover the fields of quality and safety, environment, occupational health and security. The goal of INSPECT is to establish its services as an international inspection company. INSPECT’s services include:

Marion Schneider and the INSPECT team spent several productive hours discussing opportunities for cooperation between INSPECT and BISA on common aspects ranging from accreditation and certification to quality management. A letter of intent outlining the principles of cooperation was drawn up as a basis for a prospective contract between BISA and INSPECT. In addition to supporting quality management and accreditation initiatives in the spa industry, the INSPECT founders have also agreed to represent BISA in Turkey. Over the course of ongoing cooperation in 2011, we will examine in more detail how this can form part of a long-term joint agreement. We warmly welcome INSPECT as a BISA member.
