BISA 2005 Annual Conference, Bad Sulza, Germany

Over a period of two conference days and two pre and post-conference days, delegates met in the renowned Toskana Therme in Bad Sulza, Germany to discuss wellness trends and therapies in their differing contexts, to examine spa marketing and design strategies, to relate their own personal success stories and approaches and to present their visions for the future. The conference was judged a resounding success and a valuable experience by participants and speakers alike.
The Toskana Therme natural thermal baths are home to Liquid-Sound, the world famous experience of bathing in light and sound. The conference took place at the same time as the annual Liquid Sound Festival, a 48 hour non-stop festival of music, light and sound, and delegates were able to leave the conference hall and seminar room and immerse themselves in light, water and music.
The conference attracted more than 90 participants from 6 continents and represented an exceptionally international gathering of professionals from many different backgrounds and viewpoints.
Delegates included spa owners, spa educators and therapists to consultants, trade experts, designers and innovators and came not only from the UK and Germany but also France and the Netherlands, from the USA and Canada, from Russia and as far away as South Africa, Singapore and Australia.
