Education
BISA acts as an educational platform for the industry with the aim of raising standards within the industry and for the consumer:
- Development and endorsement of spa therapist qualifications
- Inspection and approval of schools and training centres
- Assistance with staff recruitment for the emerging spa industry
Working in close partnership with the SQA, BISA has developed a new certificate, the PDA Diploma in Spa Therapies, which employers, trainers and colleges can make use of to train their staff to a high level of competence within the spa industry.
