STAGE TWO – results of survey and site inspection

The marketing and publicity pack is made available for the qualifying spa. Confirmation of details for BISA publicity and Spagazers.com are sought.

Applying for accreditation and fees

The British International Spa Association (BISA) is implementing a continuous programme to upgrade its International Spa Accreditation Scheme. As a result this “third generation” scheme is now available, building on previous success. The BISA Waves scheme is established as the leading quality rating for spas world wide. BISA has now enhanced the scheme to place greater emphasis on consumer satisfaction and the confidence that spa users can place in the spa. Individual therapists can also be eligible for the award as part of the scheme. The BISA Waves symbol is already a mark of quality that is recognised across borders and countries and to be able to book a visit to a resort far away with confidence is an important aspect of developing spa health tourism.

In addition BISA is now recruiting participant bodies worldwide to implement the scheme on behalf of the British International Spa Association. Regional Spa Associations and other similar bodies interested in participating should contact BISA to find out more.
